Pesticide known as Chlorpyrifos is banned for household use but not as a large scale pesticide.  Studies by Columbia University, University of California at Berkeley, and Mount Sinai Medical Center show that there’s a link between exposure to Chlorpyrifos and cognitive impairment in children.
      3. A decade of effort by the Natural Resource Defense Council and Pesticide Action Network resulted in the EPA itself proposing the ban until it was vetoed by Pruitt.
      4. Pruitt said, ““By reversing the previous Administration’s steps to ban one of the most widely used pesticides in the world, we are returning to using sound science in decision-making – rather than predetermined results.”
